The scented candles production secrets

Discover the secrets of the Carrement Belle scented candles production.
When cold snap is coming, all we want is to spend the day at home, remaining cosily in bed with a sweet and perfumed vibe… Good news: our scented candles production secrets will warm your day up…

Three ingredients are essential for a good scented candles production: the quality and concentration of its fragrance, the chandler’s savoir-faire, and the choice of the wick. So we paid attention to everything, for the pleasure… of your nostrils!

Made in Grasse by our historical perfumer, the perfume that enhances your candle is treated with the greatest attention. In order that the smell of your candle is closest than possible to the original scent of your eau de parfum, we adapt our formulas always choosing our raw materials carefully. Finally, each candle is highly concentrated in fragrance (from 10 to 12%), so your candle generously gives off its perfume until the last drop of wax…

The wax being a noble and delicate material, we then entrust the perfume to our chandler’s know-how, always in located in Grasse. Our wax, whose soft and creamy texture comes from a fine blend of mineral and vegetable waxes, has been specially developed to release its fragrance both hot and cold. One day before the production, the many ingredients making the wax are slowly melted all over the night. Just few minutes before the production, the fragrance is mixed with the wax to preserve its quality. The cotton wicks, whose weaving and diameter have been tested to allow the best burning, are then placed manually one by one in the candle’s glass jar. The scented wax is then delicately poured and wicks straightened and focused by hand. After 24 hours of cooling the wax, jars are cleaned and wicks cut at the right height, before we pack the candles in our workshop…

At the end, more than a dozen people operate uniquely on your Carrement Belle scented candles production: a shared passion for quality candles!
