almond is a natural raw material that cannot be extracted in perfumery but its sweet and gourmand smell is reproduced thanks to the synthesis

Almond does not exist in its natural state in perfumery. These are synthetic materials that enable to reproduce its soft, powdery notes. It can be reconstituted thanks to benzaldehyde (obtained by the distillation of apricot stones), to heliotropin (from the heliotrope), to coumarin (powerful active present notably in the tonka bean). It is found in our gourmand fragrance vanille.
