Apple

The apple tree is a fruit tree that originated in Kazakhstan and has spread throughout the world over the years. Today there are more than 20,000 species. Each of them produces flowers and above all a fruit: the apple. As with many fruits, it is not possible to extract an essence from the apple. Its perfume is therefore reproduced in the laboratory thanks to synthetic chemistry. From various assembled raw materials, perfumers can recreate the fruity, tonic and green, but also juicy and slightly acidic smell of this ingredient. We find the verdox molecule, which also reveals a woody side, and cis-3-hexenyl acetate, which has a lighter, vegetal smell. This ingredient brings a spirited and feminine facet to label rose, our floral fragrance.
