Frangipani flower

The frangipani, also called plumeria, is a shrub species native to Central America. Now found it on the Asian continent. The frangipani has also been spread in tropical regions. It grows abundantly in Hawaii and is therefore regularly confused with the tiare flower. The frangipani flower has a very strong symbolism according to beliefs. Sacred flower in Asia, it is said to shelter the souls of the dead and is offered to the gods in Balinese temples. This almost divine flower delivers fresh scents with vanilla and almond notes. In perfumery, it is widely used in summer fragrances for its exotic side but also in oriental perfumes thanks to its powdery and gourmand facet.
