Neroli oil is an essential oil produced from the distillation of the orange blossom. Unlike the orange blossom absolute which is obtained by solvent extraction. Neroli is part of the citrus olfactory family and it releases a smell both rich, sweet, flowery and suave. Initially, the smell is very sour and little by little the notes are revealed to deliver a very sweet perfume, even gourmand, which evokes some cakes of yesteryear. Neroli is also used in Eaux de Cologne.
