Orange blossom is a white flower from the bitter orange tree. Today cultivated in Morocco and Tunisia, the orange blossom is too fragile to be distilled. Its absolute is obtained by extraction with volatile solvents. The scent of the orange blossom absolute is floral, powdery, green but also waxy and sweet. Not to be confused with the essence of Neroli that comes from the hydro-distillation of the same flowers and whose smell is fresher. Our perfumes ippi patchouli and alfred kafé have a discreet note of orange blossom in their olfactory construction.
