The peony’s large pink, white or red flowers have been known and used since antiquity for their many virtues. Beyond its almost magical powers, peony is one of the most prized flowers in perfumery. Its tender and floral scent must however be reproduced through synthesis because it cannot be extracted naturally. Its scent is often confused with that of the rose, but peony brings a more vegetal aspect to a composition, which can also make we think of lily of the valley. The delicate peony accord brings a green and luminous wake to label rose.
