For almost 40 years, every creation, every gesture, every choice has been guided by the same conviction: perfume is not sold as a passing trend, it is offered as a personal imprint. Carrément Belle is our story. An independent brand born in Nîmes, where perfume is a free, honest and always creative art.

1986
A shop, an idea, a signature

In a little street in the heart of Nîmes, a shop opened its doors. Inside were jewels, bags, accessories, but above all, a vision. The vision of a brand in its infancy, already laying the foundations of a distinctive identity.

Very quickly, a desire takes over: create a signature fragrance, which speaks of past memories and adventures to come.

1988
Off to Grasse, the birth of a fragrance

A journey, the encounter with a perfumer from Grasse, and ippi patchouli was born. This bold and warm patchouli became our first creation. Since then, every fragrance has been crafted with care, humility and curiosity.

1991
a house of perfumes in its own right

Three years later, Carrément Belle became a perfume house in its own right. Made on demand, our bottles are hand‑filled in our workshop in Nîmes.

Ideas are born from contact with our clients, artisans and travels. We select our raw materials for their harmony, character and impact. Nothing is left to chance.

Our know-how

A story of transmission

Catherine and Frank launched the project with energy and passion. Their son Maxime joined the adventure in 2010, taking the reins with the same determination to root Carrément Belle in the present, while never betraying its original spirit.

We move forward with a small, loyal, dedicated and discreet team, along with a network of craftwomen and craftmen who have been our partners and part of our daily life for many years. This stability is the key to a workshop that progresses at its own pace, focusing on quality rather than quantity.
