Our know-how

The art of perfumery, where tradition meets modernity

At Carrément Belle, creating a perfume is a true artisanal know-how, the result of an alchemy between tradition and innovation. Each fragrance is a human adventure, driven by precision, expertise and genuine passion.

Choosing local, from the very beginning

The perfume: a precious ingredient

The creation of a perfume always begins with the careful selection of exceptional raw materials.

In Grasse, our perfumer partner, who has been with us since day one, helps us design fragrances that are bold, long-lasting and perfectly balanced.

Whether intended to be powerful or subtle, we focus on a generous concentration of perfume so that each creation can fully express itself on the skin or in your home.

Meticulous craftsmanship at every stage

The creation of every Carrément Belle product is a team effort, involving several passionate artisans:

The perfumer

Since 1988, we have worked with the same perfumer, based in Grasse, the world capital of perfume. A reference point for sourcing natural raw materials, they handle the production of our perfume concentrates and ensure compliance with European and global standards. Yet it is together that we create each fragrance. The concentrates are then blended with alcohol in Nîmes, followed by maceration, ageing, filtration and finally bottling in our workshop.

The printer

The labels that adorn your bottles are printed in Marne‑la‑Vallée, near Paris. Designed by the Nîmes-based illustrator Mickaël Terrier, they come to life on paper thanks to the traditional expertise of our printer. Embossing and silver hot‑stamping tools were specially created to enhance the illustrations, adding texture and brilliance to the packaging.

The case maker

In Grignan, our cases are carefully crafted from FSC‑certified paper, carrying the Imprim’Vert label to ensure responsible production. A family business that has worked with us for over 25 years, helping to create the cases that protect and dress your favourite perfume.

The workshop

It is in our workshop in Nîmes that your perfumes are prepared by hand: from filling the bottle to fitting the sprayer, from applying the labels to placing the bottles in their boxes and wrapping them, nothing escapes the attentive eyes and skilled hands of our dedicated team.

We don’t forget…

While we are proud to offer perfumes made in France, designed and produced locally, we also value our European neighbours who support us. Close to home, our customised wooden caps and sprayers are made in Spain and the bottles for our eaux de parfum and diffusers are produced in Italy, for example. A French and European production that truly makes sense.

Every bottle... a handcrafted touch

In our workshop in Nîmes, each bottle is filled, labelled and assembled by hand. This manual process allows us to pay meticulous attention to every detail, ensuring the authenticity and uniqueness of each product.
